BIR Annual Congress 2016

3rd - 4th November 2016   (GMT+00:00) GMT

The BIR Annual Congress returns in 2016 for its third successive year. Building on the success of the previous two congresses, we have a created an even better programme for 2016, one you certainly will not want to miss.

Divided into two parallel sessions over 2 days, our Annual Congress provides an open and relaxed environment for delegates to share and exchange ideas and experiences, visit our industry exhibition, showcase their research via our interactive ePoster sessions, and network both during the day and at our evening networking events.

Who should attend?
Anyone with an interest and passion for radiology, radiation oncology and the underlying sciences, including radiologists, physicists, radiographers, oncologists, physicians and radiation protection advisers, and supervisors.

We are delighted to welcome the renowned radiologist Professor Eliot Siegel to deliver the keynote lecture on the opening day.  Read his interview to gain an insight into his personal and professional life, thoughts and opinions and what keeps him awake at night.

The DMCI partnership - DMCI has gone beyond the provision of reporting services. In joining forces with the British Institute of Radiology (BIR), DMCI has created its academy that is run by its Clinical & Course Directors, Dr Sujal Desai and Dr Simon Padley. The highly successful programme of BIR/DMCI ‘Hands-On’ Training Courses, running throughout the year, covers a gamut of specialities and provides iMac-based personalised and interactive teaching targeted to radiologists of all grades. In a landmark step for a teleradiology company, DMCI is piloting a tele-multidisciplinary team (MDT) meeting for clients who may lack access to particular sub-specialist radiology services.
