Genitourinary imaging update organised by the BIR East of England branch

This event will cover various aspects of urinary tract imaging including anatomy, diagnosis of common pathological conditions with a particular focus on malignancy and image guided intervention. It will highlight several new diagnostic strategies and imaging modalities related to the urinary tract.

In order to make the day more interactive for the delegates, each lecture will be followed by a short Q&A and discussion session.

Educational aims:

  • To keep updated on the current knowledge in diagnostic urological radiology, especially oncological imaging
  • To keep up-to-date with emerging diagnostic strategies, including prostate cancer diagnosis
  • To provide an introduction to image guided intervention in the urinary tract
