This talk will provide insight and examples of implementing SGRT to decrease clinical setup errors, implementing SGRT to decrease setup time, and detail some advancements in treatment efficiency. Specifically, reduced imaging frequency, Increased throughput, real-time motion management and volume change evaluation will be discussed. . Key technical advantages of these systems over x-ray-based imaging systems will be discussed. Specifically, SI ability to image and localize without the use of x-rays—e.g. lower patient dose, and provide real-time feedback for patient posture positioning. Published and anecdotal examples will be provided by the author who will take questions at the culmination of the presentation.
